Slater's
Scuba Centre have
specialised in training small groups of students to dive since
1979. On two separate occasions Slater's Dive School have
been employed by BBC TV. In 1992 the "Jim'll fix
it" TV
show asked Ken Slater to teach Paul Gore to Scuba Dive.

Paul Gore was a
14 year old boy who was impaired by deafness but had always wanted
to Scuba Dive with Stingrays. After a weeks intensive Scuba
Training, Paul's dream came true with a dive at Stingray city in the Cayman
Islands.

Slater's Scuba
Centre have their own heated swimming pool & lecture room
which enables new students to structure their own training, according
to their own requirements & lifestyles.

Below is a list of
the four main BS-AC Diving Courses run by Slater's Scuba Centre, beginning
with the entry-level Ocean Diver course. This certification allows you to
dive with a qualified diver to a maximum of 20 metres anywhere in the
world. It is also the pre-requisite course for any further training.
